Case study 1: CPTED in The Netherlands
This case study will demonstrate the workflow of a CPTED practitioner and focus on how it has been applied in handling drugs related problems in the inner city of the Dutch city Den Helder.
Case study 2: Impact Evaluation in Latin America
In a longitudinal research (2016-2022) three villas where intervened with CPTED, two in Chile and one in Honduras, with a comparison indicators analysis of the impact of those interventions in crime and fear reduction.
Case study 3: The Queen Street Mall
This brief case study will provide an example of CPTED application in an Australian open street mall from Brisbane, Queensland. This is a multi-functional and complex space inclusive of many actors and space users. It showcases the need for an integrated approach to implementing CPTED.
