9. German Congress on Crime Prevention

The 9th German Congress on Crime Prevention took place on the 17th and 18th of May 2004 in Stuttgart sponsored by the President of Baden-Württemberg, Erwin Teufel.

The main topic of the Congress was Community-based Crime Prevention, central aspects of which were covered systematically and in depth in 16 lectures and 9 workshops.

A further 16 lectures and 9 workshops were offered in the Open Forum on various other current issues in the crime prevention field.

There was a large exhibition area (1500 sq. m.) showing more than 100 projects and other initiatives.Additional activities including an on-stage special event programme rounded off the Congress.
