We collect and process personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment and content design or change of the legal relationship (inventory data). As far as on our sides personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) are raised, this takes place, as far as possible, always on voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.
We point out that the general data transmission on the Internet (e.g. during communication by e-mail) is regularly unsecured and can therefore show security gaps, so that the data can be taken note of or falsified by unauthorized persons.

The storage serves technical and statistical purposes. It is not merged with other data sources.
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
We use so-called “session cookies“ on our websites, which are small text files that are stored on the user‘s computer and are automatically deleted (depending on the setting of your browser program) when you end your visit to our website and close your browser. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies. As a rule, your browser is set so that it automatically accepts cookies. You can also allow or disallow the acceptance of cookies in certain cases. In this case, however, this can lead to functional restrictions of the website. Please refer to the operating instructions for your browser to find out how these settings can be made.
If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the personal data you provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your explicit consent.
Order of information material
DPN/TPN, newsletter, right of withdrawal
You can subscribe to our newsletter as part of our online offer. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure, after which we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have explicitly confirmed the activation of the newsletter service by clicking on a link in a notification. If you later decide against receiving newsletters, you can cancel your subscription at any time by revoking your consent. E-mail newsletters can be cancelled via the link printed in the newsletter and on the website. Alternatively, please contact us using the information in the Contact section.
For the use of the extended communication options (text/video chat) within the foyer, we also work with an external service provider for identification/authentication. This has the highest possible and DSGVO-compliant guidelines and is subject to German legislation. Furthermore, we do not pass on your data in any form.
The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his consent.
Passing on data
The German Prevention Congress will only pass on your personal data to third parties (recipients) if he is entitled to do so under data protection legislation. In the following we inform you about the constellations in which this may be the case. The German Prevention Congress may pass on your personal data to third parties if
- you have given us your consent to do so for one or more specific purposes (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO);
- the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO);
- processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the German Prevention Congress is subject (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO);
- the processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the German Prevention Congress or a third party, unless your interests predominate (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Furthermore, the German Prevention Congress works with service providers, so-called order processors, to whom it transfers your personal data and who process your data on its behalf and according to the instructions of the German Prevention Congress within the scope of Art. 28 DSGVO. These service providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by the German Prevention Congress, are bound by its instructions and are regularly monitored. All of the service providers named use servers located in Germany and are subject to the laws applicable in Germany.
Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API, a map service. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Use of YouTube
For the integration of videos we use the provider YouTube LLC with headquarters in 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA ("YouTube"), which belongs to Google Inc.
In addition, some of our websites use the YouTube player from "YouTube". As soon as you visit a website on our website that contains such a player, a connection to the "YouTube" servers is established and the film is then displayed. This transfers to the "YouTube" server which of our Internet pages you have visited and a link to your "YouTube" account may be created if you have one and are logged in during your visit to our Web pages.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you would allow YouTube to associate your surfing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your account beforehand. In this case you may not be able to use some functions of our online offer anymore or only to a limited extent.
If you provide us with personal data, we use it to inform you about the annual German Prevention Congress and, if necessary, to ask you about it, provided you have explicitly given us your consent to use your personal data for advertising purposes. If you have given your consent for such use but do not wish to receive advertising from the German Prevention Congress in the future, you can revoke your consent at any time for the future. Your data will then be deleted accordingly or, if it is still necessary for billing and accounting purposes, blocked.
Registration/application for the upcoming congress
In order to register as a participant for an upcoming German Prevention Congress, we require a minimum of personal data (name, address, e-mail address, work area). We use this data exclusively for the purpose of registration for the respective congress and sending the ticket and an invoice.
As for the registration of participants, we also need personal data for the application for a lecture, a poster or an information stand. These data are also stored exclusively for the use of the allocation for the respective congress. When registering for the stage program, we only store your data temporarily and delete them after the respective congress.
All data used for your participation or application will be used exclusively for the intended purpose. For the postal dispatch of the congress folding plan we commission an external service provider who, like us, is subject to the strict rules of the GDPR. Furthermore, we will not pass on your data in any form.
We use links on our websites to external sites whose contents are not on our server. The external contents of these links were checked when the links were set. However, it cannot be ruled out that the contents may have been subsequently changed by the respective providers. After clicking on the link, we no longer have any influence on the collection, processing and use of any personal data transferred to the third party by clicking on the link (such as the IP address or the URL of the page on which the link is located), since the conduct of third parties is naturally beyond our control. We assume no responsibility for the processing of such personal data by third parties.
Should you notice that the content of external providers violates applicable law, please let us know.
Right to Information, Deletion, Blocking, Objection
You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing at any time.
Furthermore, you can revoke your consent to the collection, processing and use of your personal data for the future at any time. You can contact us at any time at the following address:
German Prevention Congress

Personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to its storage, if knowledge of the personal data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons.
Data which is required for accounting and bookkeeping purposes or which is subject to the legal obligation to retain data are not affected by this.
Pseudonymised use of the website
As a matter of principle, you can visit our Internet pages without providing us with personal data. Pseudonymised usage data are not combined with the data of the bearer of the pseudonym. Pseudonymous user profiles are not created.
Changes to the Data Protection Notice
We reserve the right to change our security and data protection measures if this is necessary due to technical developments. In these cases we will also adapt our data protection information accordingly. Please therefore note the current version of our data protection notice.
For information, suggestions and complaints regarding the processing of your personal data, you are welcome to contact us. You can reach us at the address given in the "Responsible" section.
