NGO Estonian Neighbourhood Watch
The lecture will be about neighbourhood watch movement in Estonia. I would like to emphasize how it is possible to involve state, local governments, NGOs and citizens (and also businesses) into continuous effective activity. The aim of this co-operation is mainly to reduce crime but there are also other benefits which will grow from the common activities. In this example I will describe how NGO as a leader of this co-operation can be a connection between different institutions and bring together people with the common aim and ideas.
