Application for a Lecture - Information

Lectures may refer to any topic from the field of crime prevention or to the thematic focus of this year's 29. DPT, which is “Security in Change”.

A maximum of 30 minutes of pure presentation time is available for a lecture. Afterwards, 15 minutes are scheduled for discussion.

The Advisory Board of the 29th German Prevention Congress decides on the acceptance of the application on the basis of the submitted lecture abstracts. Therefore, please provide a meaningful lecture title and give as much detail as possible about the planned content. This will increase the chance that your submission will be accepted. Please allocate your lecture to a topic from the list provided, to help us assign a topic to your lecture when planning the programme. If there is more than one speaker, please add the additional names, titles and institutions in the comments field of the registration form.

Application deadline: November 15, 2023

The accepted lectures will be published on the website of the German Prevention Congress together with the abstract of the lecture and details of the speakers including a photo (optional). For this purpose, we will ask you in due course to revise, if desired, and then approve the finalised abstract as well as to submit the personal details and the photo via online form.

Congress fees

As a speaker you will receive a free congress ticket. A second speaker receives the congress ticket at the reduced price for contributors (195€). Additional speakers will have to pay the regular rate.
Unfortunately, no honoraria or travel expenses can be paid.
