In memory of the victims of the racist attack on 19 February 2020, the Hanau Partnership for Democracy based in Germany has launched a nationwide campaign.
The names of the people who were murdered in Hanau on 19 February 2020 for racist reasons must not be forgotten: Gökhan Gültekin, Sedat Gürbüz, Said Nesar Hashemi, Mercedes Kierpacz, Hamza Kurtović, Vili Viorel Păun, Fatih Saraçoğlu, Ferhat Unvar and Kaloyan Velkov.
This is the core message of the campaign, which was initiated by the Partnership for Democracy in Hanau under the hashtag #SayTheirNames.
