More news about the topic
This paper highlights two areas in which restorative justice has contributed to reducing violent extremism in the communities of Northern Ireland and to the reintegration of prisoners.
Between September 2014 and December 2017, the European Forum for Urban Security (Efus) led, with funding from the European Commission, the LIAISE “Local institutions against violent extremism” project for exchanging and strengthening the capacities of European local authorities for the implementation of prevention projects against violent radicalisation. The paper was written in the framework of the LIAISE 2 project in order to synthesise existing knowledge and make it operational for local authorities.
