Dr. Dirk Tänzler is Professor at the History and Sociology

Department at the University of Konstanz and Co-ordinator of

the research project ‘Crime and Culture’ supported within the

Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission. He

was Visiting Professor and Lecturer at the Universities of

Zurich, Vienna, Luzern, Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen,

Salzburg and Humboldt University. He was the Director of the

“Sozialwissenschaftlichs Archiv” at the University of Konstanz.
