Expanding Access to Opportunities for Girls and Women: Working Towards Safe Mobility

The new Safetipin report "Expanding Access to Opportunities for Girls and Women: Working Towards Safe Mobility" highlights the everyday experiences and mobility-related challenges faced by young girls and women in three low-income neighbourhoods in Delhi NCR region.

The study collected important and necessary empirical data and information on women's mobility patterns and their lived experiences. The research shows that lack of safe mobility choices impedes opportunities of growth-education, employment and leisure for young girls and women denying them equal rights to the city.
