Study on the Economic, Social and Human Costs of Trafficking in Human Beings in the EU

To mark the 14th EU Anti-Trafficking Day, the European Commission is issuing a new Study on the economic, social and human costs of Trafficking in Human Beings in the EU and a Study on reviewing the Functioning of Member States’ National and Transnational Referral Mechanisms.

Both studies are key actions of the 2017 Commission Communication ‘Reporting on the follow-up to the EU Strategy towards the eradication of trafficking in human beings and identifying further concrete actions’.
