A long way to go for LGBTI equality

More news about the topic

In May 2019, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) launched an EU-wide LGBTI survey, seven years after the first one. With almost 140,000 participants, it is the largest survey of its kind. The survey deals with sex, sexual orientation and gender and collected the experiences of discrimination and hate crime as well as the views and challenges faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and, for the first time, intersex people across the EU, North Macedonia and Serbia.

The new survey results show little progress over the past seven years.

The results are now published in the report "A long way to go for LGBTI equality"
