WHO: Training for healthcare providers to help women survivors of violence

When healthcare providers are properly trained to address violence against women, they can make a big difference in addressing not only the physical injuries caused by violence, but also the mental, sexual and emotional hurt.

In recognition of this, WHO has published a new training curriculum to provide healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills that they need to know how to best help women who are living with violence.
