National Child Exploitation Prevention Programming

CSN hosted a webinar on Safer Internet Day, focusing on programs that create healthy and safe spaces for children and adolescents.

The Secret Service’s Child Safety Outreach Programs provide prevention information to communities and support safer spaces for children to live, learn, and play. These programs help safeguard children against threats associated with the rapid expansion of digital technology, including online child sexual exploitation and abuse. Special Agent Britney Hays presented on programming for Kindergarten through Grade 5 (ages 5–10).

The Department of Homeland Security’s Know2Protect is a public awareness campaign designed to educate and empower children and adults to prevent and combat online sexual exploitation and abuse. Forensic Interview Specialist Rene Young presented on programming for children and adolescents ages 10 and up.
