Jeremy Coid MD is Emeritus Professor of Forensic Psychiatry at Queen Mary University of London and currently visiting Professor to Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London, UK. He is the author of over 170 papers, mainly on the epidemiology of violence. He has extensive clinical experience of managing violent and offender patients in security and giving expert advice to courts in criminal cases. His recent research is on extremist views in the UK population, support for terrorism, and whether a ‘contagion’ model applies to Radicalization.
