Chien Huang is an assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology of FU JEN Catholic University, a licensed clinical psychologist in Taiwan, also a fellow of the Taiwan Association of Clinical Psychology. In terms of research, his major research interest is criminal psychology, especially dual cognitive process of sexual offending; continuation and desistance of sexual crime; and criminal profiling. Moreover, in clinical practice, he has been involved in the treatment and evaluation of sexual offenders in the community. He also took the role of supervisor of sexual offending therapists in prison. He is currently working on research about the etiology of sexual offending and computerized text analysis of linguistic styles in deception and fake news.
