Black Academy

PLACE e.V. & MeineWelt e.V.

Abstract:
The Black Academy is an initiative of MeineWelt e.V. in collaboration with PLACE e.V. and the NGO PLACE for Africa to make the knowledge and skills of people of African descent visible. The aim of the Black Academy is to create a platform to further educate Afros, to popularise their expertise, to equip them and to create links between black people worldwide. But the academy is open to all.

Our A0 posters will present to the public our various achievements and contributions in the field of prevention and awareness raising within the Black Academy project. The Black Academy develops educational material in the form of books, videos, idioms and podcasts to educate, raise awareness, inform and educate about systemic racism. These stands will provide a better understanding of the knowledge of people of African descent as a solution to current crises (discrimination, power structures, climate crisis...).

With funding from the UN decade, the Black Academy promotes socio-economic rights by lobbying authorities and decision-making bodies. The Black Academy strives to highlight the struggle for freedom and justice of black and Afro-descendants.

Visitors will have the opportunity to access our different achievements and testimonies.
