Canadian government starts funding against gangs and focus on prevention

The Trudeau government is rolling out agreements worth more than $200 million for the provinces and territories as the final leg of a 2017 funding commitment to combat gun and gang violence across Canada. The provinces will receive a total of $214 million out of the original budget for their efforts to combat gun and gang crime.
