The Crime & Society Research Group (CRiS) of the Department of Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is offering six positions. These professionals will work in the recently granted Strategic Research Program “Crime and Society: New Challenges”, funded by the Research Council of the VUB.

The positions are:

  1. Scientific Coordinator (Post-doc level 30%)
  2. Administrative Coordinator (Bachelor level, 50%)
  3. Post-doctoral Position for the coordination of the work package on “Technology in Crime Control” (Post-doc level, 50%)
  4. Post-doctoral Position for the coordination of the work package on “New Faces of Social Exclusion”(Post-doc level, 50%)
  5. Post-doctoral Position for the coordination of the work package on “Empirical Human Rights” (Post-doc level, 50%)
  6. Post-doctoral Position for the coordination of the work package on “Methodological, Ethical and Theoretical Implications” (Post-doc level, 50%)

The positions are all part-time but the same candidate can apply for more than one position.The length of the contract is of 3 years, with a yearly evaluation. The closing date of the call is April 15, 2018. Job interviews will be held on 7 May 2018. Start date of the enrollment: 1 June 2018 (negotiable).
